About little red grape bakery
The Little Red Grape Bakery has been in business since 2012. It is located on the main road in the town of Sevenhill, in the Clare Valley. We (Jackie and Steve Watson) took over the business in 2017. The bakery is mixed between a beautiful old classical building with brand new up market facilities.
Since then we have nurtured our friendly local staff with years of hospitality experience. Our produce is locally sourced and is freshly made, 7 days a week onsite in Sevenhill, South Australia.
We offer a great selection of all the favourites seen in bakery and café.
We have a beautiful scenic location featuring a lawn garden with outdoor dining to sit and relax. The building includes an open cellar door where you can taste the region’s famous wines while you breathe the fresh country air. There is ample outdoor seating and space for you to feel comfortable with your friends, family, and pets. You won’t have any issues finding a parking space for your car and bus if you’re on a tour. We are in a central location in the Clare Valley, being close to the Riesling Trail and many local vineyards.
Our bakery caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance.
We cater for people who use a wheelchair, people who are blind or have vision loss.
We welcome and are more than happy to assist people who have challenges with learning, communication, understanding and behaviour.
We welcome everyone to our bakery –not just for our famous products but our award-winning service.

Award winning bakery
We are a small bakery providing for our local and visitor customers at Sevenhill, located in the Clare Valley. We hold ourselves to a very high standard here at Little Red Grape bakery with over 12 awards to our name.
In 2021 we were awarded the Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice award, we have won 8 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze medals in the Great Aussie Pie competition. We placed 17 entries and we won 17 medals, this is the 4th year in the making of receiving 8 gold medals. Our famous Garlic Chicken roll and Thai Chicken satay pie have recently become national winners.
Since taking over in 2017 we have won a swag of awards. We could not be more proud of our Bakers and team who continue to strive for excellence and thank you to our wonderful, loyal customers.
wholesale
We currently have 30 local and surrounding businesses that we sell wholesale to. This ranges from bread, sweets and pastries. Some of the local cellar doors and hotels around the area want something unique for their business to help make them stand out from the rest. We have very talented staff members who are able to make anything to suit your business needs.
Community involvement
We are a local business who employ local staff and give support back to other business around the Clare Valley region.
We want to give support to our local customers who continue to support us. We sponsor and show our support to all the local sporting clubs and schools around the Clare Valley. We also give back to the tourism outlets who bring new faces through our doors.
We place a very high value on our local community giving us support and we are happy to discuss further with you about donating food or our time to help give back to our amazing community we have here in the Clare Valley.
